Job Summary
The role of the Research Analyst at Human Branding is to support the Strategists across all aspects of qualitative consumer market research projects, including administrative project set up, academic digs, background desk research, note-taking at ethnographic and in-facility fieldwork, analysis of research findings as well as help with debrief writing, through to project close. At Human Branding, Research Analysts successful in their role excel in: analysis, leveraging an Applied Anthropology Thinking philosophy, strategic ability, planning and project management, as well as outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. They must be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial fast paced environment and able to verbalize their point of view, as well as like working on a team and in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Reporting and analysis support: updating project tracker, interpreting and analyzing data, participating in the discovery of insights to support strategic recommendations
• Can summarize themes, patterns, can synthesize ideas into presentations/slides
• Can take a first cut at generating possible business implications from analysis
• Successfully manage multiple projects, all in different design/analysis stages, at once with confidence
• Proactively anticipating, troubleshooting, overcoming, and/or escalating project challenges to the project lead in a timely manner
• Coordinating project task activities between project team and the internal project management and operations team
• Assisting in the development of strong and captivating proposals to meet client needs, based on short research briefs and/or elaborate RFPs; including assisting with costing structure, methodological design, analytical framework, etc.
• Designing quantitative questionnaires/focus group screeners/interview guides to meet the specific or unique client objectives
Requirements
• University degree
• 0 – 2 years’ experience, Market Research an asset
• Project Management
• Strategic thinker with strong analytic and writing skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Meticulous and process driven
• Highly motivated self-starter; ability to work with minimal direction but get the job done
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Word
• High attention to detail
• Manage multiple projects efficiently
• Ability to multi task effectively with strong time management skills
• Knowledge of research methodologies a plus
• Qualitative questionnaire research writing experience a plus
• Must work out of the Human Branding Head Office *during COVID-19 employees are currently working from home
